Wonder if this is also the opportunity for CC to look at a trialist or two? Or just the chance to give the new players some game time.

I wonder if it's CC's chance to look at Mark De Man and gazump Killie. 80+ matches for Anderlecht is not too shabby.

Someone on our forum said that they had heard that both teams wanted to look at Mark de Man and thats why the game was arranged against yous.

Dunno how much sense that makes, surely if we wanted him and knew yous were interested why would we want you to get a better look at him while he was on trial with us?

He could easily have just come and played in a bounce game for Hibs after his trial with Killie, I suppose if we are genuinely interested it gives both clubs a chance to have a look at him now against SPL quality opposition (if Hibs can be described as that at the moment...).

I suppose from Killie fans point of view it might not seem ideal letting a trialist be looked at by a club he could potentially end up at, but might speed up the process whoever he signs for.

Is he not a free agent? Doesnt matter if its done before the window closes tomorrow.

Traditionally a number of players, who might otherwise have cost a fee, get freed tomorrow so that they become "free agents" before the window "slams shut".

You can sign free agents after the window slams shut .I think he knows that but the must be made free agents before the window slams shut. That's the reason for them being released on the last day

Not very believable, on the basis that Shuteya **** doesn't sound Surinamese. :greengrin

Mark de Man has signed for a third division Belgian side as his family would be staying there rather than coming to Scotland.

I know it is for family reasons but it is a bit concerning that a player would rather go to a Belgian Third Division club than a SPL club.
