Big price for McCoist...
Exactly what I was thinking.
Is there an equation all bookies use that directly affects the odds on the latest Hearts manager to get sacked based on time in the job, regardless of results?:greengrin

The price for Shiels would be a lot shorter if we could afford to sack him and if we sacked managers rather than (rightly or wrongly) sticking with them. Haven't sacked anyone since Totten.
BW was there 5-6 years, JJ was there 7ish years before we mutually decided he wanted the Hearts job, Jimmy Calderwood did six months before deciding he didn't like the budget and then Mixu did about a year before going to Finland.

Shiels is a good price probably because of what you say. Logic would say Calderwood, but then do bookies build in a price for Mad Vlad's irrationality? At that price I think not.

The thing that worries me the most about that list is that the 2 names most people tend to put forward as CC's replacement are the next 2 favs to get the sack :worried:

Don't care too much about the odds, just hope that this is one race that CC wins comfortably.
