Tell me again just how many players this incumbent has signed? Our playmaker Thornhill has made me pine for the glory days of Brian Kerr.

A playmaker wouldn't really make a difference. We seem to just bypass the midfield completely anyway, with our defence just hoofing and hoping.

We have good individuals. It's the managers job to mould these guys into a team, a machine isn't a machine until all the parts are together in the right place. Each part relies on other parts doing there job. We need to give it a chance.

Other than O'Connor we have a complete lack of any quality, Booth will be good but he's still young and not a left back, Griffiths looks like he could have a spark. Murray tries his best but he has become a bit of a carthorse that now needs put out to pasture, Hanlon is OK, O'Hanlon could turn out OK but most of the rest have been shown the door at their old clubs for good reason.

what is missing is an owner who gives a flying hoof about the club and doesn't leave it to a complete numpty like petrie to run it.
Any other owner would have got involved and relieved certain people of there duties.
Its a shambles this club, from a footballing point of view everything is wrong and there is absolutely nothing to be positive about..
one day maybe...

We are a business not a football club, passion does not come into it. Not a chance of us deviating from the easy passage of simply existing, not a chance of us buying players of a decent calibre, because this is the SPL and who in there right mind wants to play in this set up? We wont gamble, we won't roll the dice, we will continue to tick over and eventually there will be nothing left. For all we slag Romanov he puts his, theirs, someones cash into Hearts, but he puts cash in, we put the square root of F all in and get the square root of F all back. we missed the boat years ago with Mowbray and the players he had, oh how we have suffered since..
