A bit disappointed, what happened to Crawford being the next big thing?

Being loaned out never did the likes of Kenny Miller, Garry O Connor or Derek Riordan any harm.

Valuble experience for both of them imo

Most of the previous 'next big things' have had a stint out on loan and come back better for it.

Makes perfect sense, Griffiths and Towell in to see us up until next year, these two play week in and week out and come back better players.

I take it we have some sort of 'special relationship' with Brechin? We seem to send a lot of our kids to them on loan. :dunno:

Who thought Crawford was going to be the next big thing?

I think it is a good move for both of them and a loan spell should do them no end of good. Look forward to hearing about how they get on.

Good move and hopefully both of them get lots of game time.

Six months in that division should see them really develop and come back fitter and stronger.

Do they still not train with Hibs full time.

Absolutely !!

No matter what level you play the game at the reason for signing for a club is to get "game time"
Also with no reserve league young lads are denied the chance to gain experience playing against older/stronger guys .

Yes, I think they probably will.

I meant match fit in the context of getting 'fitter'.

Exactly.

Regular game time will keep the boys motivated and help them build up in confidence.

Was really impressed with Scott Smith in the last game. Cracking cross. :agree:
