Could next season be the season that a team outwith the ugly sisters could win the title? given their poor results tonight, i predict they wont have a lot to spend on upgrading players or renewing contracts.

could a notoriously tightfisted chairman (no names mentioned), be tempted to loosen the purse strings enough to sign decent enough players to try and become the first team in 20 odd years to win the title. Of course this would be dependent on a successful/massive improvment from last, season for CC and co.

i feel lennon and mcoist are two of the weakest managers of the OF in a long time, who may not be there next season. but assuming they are, i dont think with a good level of speculative investment in the team, a title challenge will be outwith the reaches of either Edinburgh club, and maybe DU(which seems unlikely, re goodwillie).

no champions league money, no europa league money, little SKY / espn money..

maybe we all have a chance ? i don't think so mate !

Still got 50 - 60,000 glory hunters.

We still have no chance.

anyway...

The fact they got beat by slovenia and swiss teams tonight is nothing short of disgraceful, there fans should be up in arms, no doubt its the competition in scotland that makes it so easy for them to spend there vast fortunes on such *****e players and managers...

Absolutely no chance, unfortunately.

Rangers and Celtic will still finish about 25 points ahead of whoever finishes 3rd.

They may be two poor sides on a European scale but when it comes to the domestic scene, they're still miles ahead of the rest and I don't see that changing any time soon.

They would never allow it to happen, even if it was statistically possible.

As Baldrick said, it probably needs a cunning plan.

1. Hibs produce their usual indifferent start to the 2012-13 season.

2. Donation to Hibs of millions by STF kept secret for first half of season.

3. Negotiations with top European players kept secret for first half of season.

4. Said signings made on January 31 so the ugly sisters can do nothing about it.

5. er...:smokin

Does anybody think the CH would have been sent off in the SPL, or a penalty given, in such an important game? Not a chance.

Its loaded against us and the shenanigans last season dont help us or them. When they go into Europe the decisions dont go their way the same as they do domestically and this hinders them as they cant understand it. Had Whittaker thrown the ball at Ibrox in a League Cup game would he have been sent off?

Only if the ref wanted his windows put in, abuse in the street and his bairns beat up at school.

The refs will continue to give the OF the breaks domestically. Its a conspiracy right enough.

No way will the Establishment be broken in Scottish Football....The media, SFA Blazers, SPL Blazers, Refs, Religion = no chance

For so long now we have had to put up with Infirm bias through reading in the papers, watching TV that young players/supporters start believing the hype that surrounds the mediocre Infirm which steams and lives with them through to adulthood, that they cant be beat. BUT THEY CAN BE BEAT.
