And another thing. Hearts fans bring a Scotland flag to Tynecastle shock. You'll only ever see that against English opposition. :agree:

Who eats a fruit salad on the way to the football. This guys sounds like a right posh git, and not the typical Yid that goes to the Spurs games. Still funny but.

Fascinating to see how the spurs fans see scotland and edinburgh through their eyes.Funny how they were expecting hertz and their fans to get rough but it never happened. Not sure whats going to happen tonight but will sit back and enjoy the game and hopefully they wont thrash hertz and embarrass scottish football

only kidding 6-0 to the spurs reserves which will probably have cost more than all the spl teams put together.

The bit about the neighbour that 'never wins anything' is quite clearly lifted from Renton's bit about Hibs in Trainspotting, "supporting a crap football team that never f*****g wins"

The bit about the neighbours wasnt about Hibs, it was in reference to England, as he's talking more generally about Scotland at the time.

This post sums up the tartan army. The video was a light hearted dig at us as a country. Some decent gags about the yams and arsenal. But anti Scottish. Don't think so

Pretty ironic that you respond to a sweeping generalisation with one of your own.

Very clever:thumbsup: Thought it was amazing that he knew the significance of lightbulbs to the club and its finances and managed to get the full one into the clip, well researched.

:agree: Shamefully, Hibs are the leading proponents of thuggery in Edinburgh Football. What's the bet if Spurs had been playing us we would have been plagued by a shower of erseholes terrorising the visiting support and the public in general

If Hibs are the Scottish Arsenal, are Spurs the English Hearts?

quite middle class 'new fan' but who cares, well made and quite funny and like most visitors to Edinburgh, especially in Festival time points out that Edinburgh is one of the best cities in the world.

Anti Englishness is a much bigger problem than anti Scottishness culturally (I get a few folk with accent jibes but no more than a cockney would in Scotland)

So he stole this concept (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero_Punctuation) and applied it poorly to a diary for going to a football game. Typical irritating EPL fan.

I think he's got a grasp of something most Scottish fans I know know little or nothing about - going to a game to enjoy himself.

Funny, inoffensive, and actually quite complimentary about Edinburgh - though someone should warn him that outside Festival time it can be a lot duller than he found it. And if Spurs are ever drawn to play in Weedgieville, he'd batter curb his sense of humour.

You're not allowed to laugh at Glasgow - or their nasty football teams.

He wasn't having a dig at Hibs.

He was saying that Scotland has an annoying neighbour who never wins trophies. He was comparing Spurs (and Arsenal) to Scotland (and England). It was more of a dig at Arsenal and England than anything else.

Guy who done the vid is called Dan Louw, he does a podcast I listen to called 'Americarnage' with Nat Coombs and Mike Carlson, basically a weekly round up of American Sports etc, he's pretty funny in it, he's done a few "away days" vids and they're all really funny and light hearted. :agree:
