I'm pretty sure they said the 2nd leg was being shown on ITV2 again.

And yes, there's a very high probability of double digits (the score that is, not the f!sting they're going to get! :take that:asshole:)

I'm pretty sure it will be on ITV 4.

However the Huns game v Maribor is on ESPN and I've feeling that could turn out to be a really competitive match.

With any luck the Blood-Turds will score 5, only to be beaten by an ludicrously unjust penalty in the 3rd minute of injury time. Resulting in another 25 years of 'what could have been'. Ho ho ho!

I watched the game in the local pub last week. The pub was full of Hibs supporters and one lucky guy put a bet on Spurs to win 5-0. He won £700. He was panicking a bit when the fifth goal went in with 12 minutes to go.

I know it won't make you feel any better but thought it was worth a mention.

Dunno if these are records, but:

Sheep were beaten 8-1 by that Czech team they played a couple of years ago.

Huns were beat 12-4 by Eintracht Frankfurt in the semi-finals of the European Cup in 1960. Eintracht were gubbed by Real Madrid at Hampden in the final, of course.

I had £2 on Spurs to score 6 or more at 213/1 on betfair then later that day had a £3 bet at 1000/1!!!

They could easilly have scored right at the death too when their boy cut right in from the left and ran right through the box without a challenge . I was raging!!! I did lay off part of the bet for a nice wee profit. It was about 10/1 with 20 minutes left.

Harry Redknapp looks set to give youth a chance as we face Hearts in the second leg of our Europa League play-off at the Lane on Thursday night.

A fine performance at Tynecastle last week means we go into the tie 5-0 up from the first leg.

With a number of injuries to contend with and another huge Premier League fixture to follow against City on Sunday, Harry reported before training on Wednesday that Andros Townsend, Harry Kane and Tom Carroll all come into the picture for the second leg against Hearts.

"It's a great opportunity for them," said Harry. "It will be a great experience for them to play in a European game at White Hart Lane and it will give me the chance to have a look at them up against good opposition."

It won't be a new experience for winger Andros, who made a spectacular full debut for us last season when he scored in the FA Cup against Charlton.

He also came off the bench in the first leg at Tynecastle and helped set-up the fifth goal. Forward and regular Spurs XI goalscorer Harry was on the bench for a Carling Cup tie against Everton back in October, 2009 but it will be the first time midfielder Tom has made it into the final 18-man squad.

Both impressed in loan spells at Leyton Orient last season and Tom played his part as the Os took Arsenal to a replay in the FA Cup.

Tom Huddlestone (ankle) and Luka Modric (hamstring) remain doubtful while Ledley King (knee), William Gallas (calf), Danny Rose (ankle), Wilson Palacios (knee), Sandro (knee) and Steven Pienaar (groin) are all still sidelined.

Better news sees Jermaine Jenas back in the frame after an Achilles problem.

From BBC gossip page

Should Hearts, 5-0 behind from the first leg, lose by four goals or more to Tottenham in their Europa League qualifier, they will become Scotland's biggest-ever aggregate losers, surpassing Rangers' 12-4 defeat by Eintracht Frankfurt in the 1960 European Cup semi-final. (Various)

Going back through Tottenham's European records, I see that our biggest win in a major competition came against Iceland's Keflavik in the 1971-72 UEFA Cup 15-1.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v239/jyarden/2011/7174.jpg

Scottish legend Alan Gilzean bagged himself five goals over the two legs.

I don't think Spurs will get anywhere near that aggregate score tonight, but it should be a fairly comfortable work-out for our lads before the home game with Manchester City.

I think both teams are likely to play their youth/reserve teams and with Spurs being at home, I can see them probably winning about 3-0.

The tie is completely done and dusted so the Spurs reserve players will just be trying to do their best to edge closer to a first team place.

I could see the Yams putting the boot about if Spurs look like adding appreciably to their score.

They were certainly turning nasty (nasty? naw- nastier, I think) towards the end of the first leg.

How about the whole Hearts team staring a rammy on the pitch halfway through the first half after going 7 down, the game being abandoned, the tie awarded to Spurs, and the Yams fined millions of millions of pounds by UEFA and banned from playing any kind of football whatsoever until somewhere/when the far side of 2050?
