West Ham v Leeds on SS1 at the moment Hammers 1 up with Cole goal.

Impressed with Snodgrass at Leeds looks a good player, has just hit the post.

:agree: Motherwell moving the ball around nicely; using the width of the pitch and playing with more than one up front. Quite impressed with them and a bit unfortunate to be 2 down.

Not sure about terrible...but 2 with shot confidence...we have a chance to get some of that on Tuesday and get hopefully other than GOC on the score sheet...they on the other hand have a trip where they will experience 11 people running riot in Tottenham first hand......

We are both quite shocking, I don't think anyone would deny that. However Hearts somehow manage to save their best for derby day, no matter how good or bad they've been going into the match.

I'm pinning every single grain of hope onto the shoulders of Garry O'Connor. I think he could trouble their defence but he needs to be given the ball first and that's going to be the problem.

Neil Lennon says he has been left "raging" by Celtic's 1-0 loss to St Johnstone. The Perth side enjoyed their first victory of the season thanks to a second-half goal from Dave MacKay, after Kris Commons missed a penalty.
"We were wasteful and when you're wasteful, poor in front of goal and sloppy, you will get turned over," Lennon said.
"A penalty is a gift and we keep missing them; it is not good enough."

The Celtic boss was heavily critical of his players for failing to deal with the passage of play which led to MacKay's deflected goal.
And he says the players have been left in no doubt about the improvement needed.

"We had a penalty that we can't convert. I'm sick of it," he added.
"That would have got us off to a great start. And then we were just wasteful in front of goal.
"I don't know where some people's heads are, if they want to be here or not.
"There were too many players today who wanted to go and do their own thing.
"They wanted to go and play forward and forget why they were in the team in the first place, which is to defend.
"The crowd then turned on my back four, but I'm not going to point any blame with them. It was my front six who were a real let-down today."
Celtic must now prepare for Thursday's Europa League play-off tie second leg against Sion in Switzerland.
"We have to get over this one quickly. It's a disappointing result and a disappointing performance," Lennon added.
"Some of the players come knocking on my door wanting to play.
"They get the opportunity to play and they fail. And they keep failing. If you keep failing you are not going to win games.
"I'm raging, absolutely raging and I've told the players that.
"We thought we had a strong enough team out there, but we couldn't put the ball in the net and that is the most important thing to do."

City now top of the league.. A sign of things to come....

Opening two matches against the new boys who are the favourites to be relegated and a team that finished in the bottom half of the table last season and who have only won about four matches at home against Man City in about 40 years.

It's a decent start but it's hardly conclusive evidence that Manchester City are the real deal.

United have a game in hand, tomorrow night, with a chance to draw level with City (and Wolves). It's only two games down though so I don't think anyone can say with any great confidence what will happen this season off the back of what has happened so far.

I fully expect to see City in the top three this season but at the end of the day, I don't think you can beat experience in a title race and you don't get any more experienced than Sir Alex Ferguson and his Manchester Utd teams.
