Has Lord Two Jags "John" Prescott been drafting press releases for the EPL?

"Obviously full credit to the police and we respect their decision and ultimately it will be their decision and we respect their decision and support them, they want these to go ahead as much as we do but obviously it is inevitable that if they can't go on that we support them."

Can see quite a few, if not all, the games cancelled in the English Premier.

Hopefully action like this will send the correct message to the numbskulls who were involved in the rioting.

Doubt it though.

I cant. Surely if the other games were going to be cancelled they would have been by now.

Didnt millwall 'hooligans' all meet up and stop people starting riots/looting in their town? Atleast its not starting in Edinburgh, yet anyway ,hope it doesnt.

Couple of hearts fans at my work creaming themselves at this. They seem to think that lack of match time means they have a chance. Erses.

What's the difference between Mark Duggan and Peter Crouch?

Mark Duggan set Tottenham alight!

They will have a chance at Tynecastle. Spurs not having a competitive game before next Thursday improves that chance in my opinion. Plus EL is pretty far down Redknapp's priorities for this season and a fair few regular bench warmers and reserves could be in the squad that comes up.

The Spurs match has been cancelled because a big chunk of Tottenham is still a crime scene, not for public order reasons. The vast majority of fixtures should go ahead as usual.

why? the riots are finished now arent they? I'm guessing the weekend is the most likely time for anything to flare up.The police will need some time off, not standing around watching fans in a stand or in tube stations or dealing with the usual Saturday night aswell.Makes sense from a police perspective.

They bench warmers at Spurs are crap as well. Kranjcar, Bassong, Kyle Walker, Cudicini, Keane, Palacios, Jenas, Crouch.......Hearts will cruise it.

spurs looked solid enough to me vs A Madrid the other day. they'll ease past the comedians no problems.

Supposedly the Liverpool casuals were out aswell, one of the very rare times these people are actually useful.
