Do we have a sell on fee?

Do you really think Petrie would have forgotten to do so?

Yes - I believe we do. Would be mosst surprised/disappointed if we sold Sol for a bare £200k

Hope he gets a move to the Premiership, when he wasnt being an arse not turning up after International duty etc he was some player for Hibs. If we have even a 10% sell on clause thats an extra 300k for the club which is good!

Petrie puts an electronic tag on these guys once they are sold, so he knows exactly where they are at any one time. As soon as the computer pops up Google maps "Blackburn", he'll be printing off the pre-prepared invoice to get the dosh! FACT! :greengrin

Pity he never had a tag on him when he was playing for us. He might have turned up for training!

Petrie did a cost:benefit analysis and could only afford the tags for the transferees. The tags for the current players are the next item of infrastructure to be funded. FACT.

Will be interest to see what happens here, as he had less than a year on his contract I did not know if Lest. would be accepting of a sell on clause. I do hope so.

Also, I thought Bamba moved so he was geographically closer to his family in France!!

Fourth Official on Twitter has said that this is happening. Apparently Steve Kean has been quoted as saying he's close to signing him as well.

Strange move for Sol. I'd imagine there is a strong chance the 2 will swap places next season

Id imagine Samba will be on his way if Bamba is joining the Blackburn set-up.

:agree: Makes sense. Could save a few bob on shirt printing too by giving Bamba the squad number used by Samba and use tippex or a sharpie to make the name alterations.:greengrin

Having just sold Phil Jones to Man u for 16M and Possibly Samba for 10M to Spurs or Arsenal, Rovers fans will be hoping they get more than Just Bamba in :agree:

More than likely as his replacement, expect Arsenal to go after Samba.

Strange? He'll double his wages, get a huge signing on fee and play in the prem - not a hard decision! :)

Anyone aware of the likely transfer fee from Blackburn?

Would expect we've got near to 20% sell on clause so hopefully a mid to high six figure sum coming our way soon

Always looked a Premier League player when at Hibs, was a class above the rest. Well done Sol, all the best. Will be a terrific pair of Centre Backs - Samba and Bamba. Not trying to crack a joke we all noticed months ago. But seriously, their both great players

Easy for Sven to say that, but getting around £3m for a player they spent what, a couple of hundred thousand on 6 months ago would be a great bit of business. Theyve signed plenty of players this summer so have plenty of cover.
