My boy is doing the tour of Old Trafford at the moment.

He has just texted me to say he has seen a Hibs strip there, which prompted me to think of who the last player was to wear both strips..... and I have just set him the question.

Am I right in saying Liam Miller?

Galbraith? I don't think he played a first team game though.

Andy Goram
Liam Miller
Danny Galbraith
John Rankin
Jim Leighton
Colin Murdock
Mikey Stewart

All reasonably recent ones that i can think off. Only Miller, Leighton, Goram and maybe Stewart played first team games at United.

It will be the Hibs strip in the shrine to Georgie that they have at Old Trafford that he's seen.

I was pleasantly suprised to see the Hibs top when I visited Old Trafford. It was in a display cabinet dedicated to George Best in the Red Cafe but strangely was the Le Coq/Calsberg number from 2000

Are you sure it's not Liam Miller's shirt? :greengrin

May'be Matt Busby's. He played for Hibs in the war years and there were regular friendlies between the clubs in the 50's.

Gordon Smith testimonial 7-3 Hibs.

I'm sure the testimonial was for Gordon Rae not Gordon Smith, that was in 1988 but i could be wrong.

Don't think he played for Man U, played for City and Liverpool though.
