Final game in the opening calendar of the SPL being played tonight and live on SS1.

Currently 0-0, but a decent end to end encounter thus far (granted, only 7 mins gone).

Decent game, Few half chances in the opening minutes.

East End Park pitch looks absolutely immaculate :agree:

The seats have evidently also had a good pre-season scrub too.

McGowan looks decent and I think Teale looks a cracking signing too.

Not seen much of the pars yet, but game's still young.

Teale and Thompson. Why didn't we take a look at them or did we? The st mirren attack as much as we should be embarassed to say looks more of a threat than the hibs one!!

A subbuteo attack would be more threatening than the Hibs one at the moment :greengrin

Teale looks lively :agree:

Teale certainly looks a cut above the others on the pitch.

St Mirren as a unit, are playing some good football and getting forward well :agree:.

What a goal that would have been!

Predicting a good season for St Mirren this year, made some pretty decent signings, was impressed with the Teale one in particular and hes looking good so far :agree:

even Van Zanten has looked decent, you know, a RB...... :greengrin

Can't believe I'm quite enjoying watching St Mirren.

So, let's hope the pars or killie or someone, is gonna be rotten. St Mirren look well equipped and there always appears to be more fire in other teams players than our own. Very worried about this season.

The missing £100,000 from yesterday was for subbuteo players.

I'd have taken Thompson quite happily.

It would come as no real shock if Danny Lennon has his players working on crosses in training tomorrow - passing well, finding great space, but their delivery into the area is abysmal.

I would have as well. Looks good, as do the whole St Mirren team. Work as a unit, creating chances, defending well, only thing they havent done is score!

Wonderful free kick from Hardy, equally great save from Samson.

'I am not looking for consistency over the season, just over the 90 mins' - Did Andy Walker really say that?!

Apparently consistency from referee's across the season isn't important, so long as they're consistent across the 90 minutes.

What a tool.

i would have thought that Teale would have been beyond our reach? Somebody shelling money into the Saints or does he have ties to the club like Thompson?

If it wasn't for the stewards, St Mirren would have no support in their end.

Think they are at the side rather than behind the goals.

Dunfermline are murder. If we're worse than them, we are in bother!

Dunfy look very poor. Are they worse than us do we think? I would say so.

Nope. By the way, I thought you were out of order cutting up your season ticket after one game.

Think they are at the side rather than behind the goals. Think you are right. Easy night for the stewards then. Telling each other to sit down, and getting the ball back.

They signed Hasselbank from Hamilton as well.
Sad state of affairs but think they will easily end the season above us.

Has anyone ever seen Stephen Thompson and Johnny Knoxville in the same room? Just saying...

Why?

We didn't play 'badly' against Celtic, who are probably gonna win the league...

Our passing was poor but that was about it...

It was no better than watching a Conference game .. poor sides IMHO, and I cannot see the Pars staying up.
