Caught a brief glimpse on SSN.

£750 payment to a team who field 2 Scottish U-21 players in a match. £1000 if you field 3.

Decent idea. The stakes may have to be a touch higher but I like the thought behind it.

I have been away for the weekend so I missed it. Fortunately I have a season ticket so I haven't contributed to the £100,000 loss from yesterday.

Ha ha! Still can't find any specifics on the initiative though. Not even detailed on the SPL website as far as I can see.

SSN seemed to confirm it earlier. 2 players = £750, 3+ = £1000.

Just checked and the SPL have published info on it today:

I'll give it a month before they realise it breaches EU legislation on Freedom of Employment and Discrimination in the Workplace and pull the scheme. Still free money for the Hibees though!

If only they'd been operating this scheme in previous years, Craig Thomson would have been a millionaire! :wink:
