Hi, Looking for a bit of info.

I just bought the wife a Peugeot 107 Urban 998cc at auction. Unfortunately & not surprisingly the car has no service history with it so I don't know what has been done or not done in the past.

Anyway I have put a new exhaust & brakes on already and I am now wondering if the timing belt will need replaced as the car is 5 years old with 55k on the clock.

I believe the car has the same engine as a Toyota Aygo & Citroen C1 so I would imagine they will have the same service schedule.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

from what i have read here http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/xforums/topic.asp?h=0&t=849496&mid=0&nmt=Toyota%20Aygo%20servicing%20-%20what%27s%20required%20at%20each%20service?it doesnt have a timing belt it has a chain:confused:

There is a rundown of the service schedule on that thread as well.

Thanks for that link. I did think it had a chain but there are other sites on the web that mention timing belts. I was hoping someone who owned one would confirm for certain.

Far as I know its a timing chain on these, If you know someone who works at Arnold Clark ask them to check it on the system see if it has came from there :greengrin Or give them a call and chance your luck.
