Excellent point. Because if we had been in Europe that would have meant we had achieved some degree of success last season. And that would have been unbearable.

We only have success in europe these days on FIFA or Football Manager (PES aswell if you've imported an SPL file).

I was thinking more towards squad fitness & fatigue.

I do see your point, just messing.
Having to worry about player fatigue because of Euro fixtures wouldn't have been a bad problem to have though.
