Hi,

Last week myself and 5 friends completed a cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats for Marie Curie Cancer Care. We did 989 miles in 12 days. We are all big Hibees - apart from one who is a Spurs fan so you can tell I choose my friends very carefully!

As part of my fundraising the Club has kindly donated a signed football by the 2010-2011 squad which I am auctioning on ebay here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Signed-Hibernian-FC-2010-2011-football-/160620012523?pt=UK_SportsMemorabilia_Football_Memo rabilia_ET&hash=item2565b2e3eb#ht_500wt_1202

100% of the auction price will be going to Marie Curie and I am more than happy to deliver the ball to anywhere in Edinburgh & the Lothians or meet near Easter Road on a matchday.

If anyone want's a bit more info about our challenge then please visit http://www.justgiving.com/get-on-yer-bike4ali

Many thanks. :flag:

Started the ball rolling

You should have started it at 99p to save listing costs

I don't have eBay or I would have bid and paid for postage down here if I won.

Thread hijacked. Have another if this one goes. It is for sending kids from whitburn academy over to Romania to help with a charity over there.

May be able to throw in a wee bid when I get paid. My only other signed Hibs ball has the likes of Jimmy Boco on it, so maybe time for an update :greengrin

I've got a signed ball from the relegation season too. They used to be sold in the club shop IIRC.

I am also cycling from Lands End To John O'Groats next July for Marie Curie Cancer Care. I shall put up my own page and fundraisers soon as I was very well supported by everyone on :hnet:

The reason I'm posting on this thread is that I have a signed ball from the 90s, with Keith Wright, Mikey Weir and the crew all signed. :greengrin Even Joe T .... Not even that sure how much we could expect to raise for MCCC. Any ideas????

For the posters interested, last year I raised £10,664.50 with your help and next year we have a small team, so watch this space. :hibees
