Anyone know the Cowden team? Couple mates were in the squad (huge Hibees).
Think it's currently 1-0 to Cowden???

If I understand a tweet I've just read it is indeed 1-0 to Cowdenbeath. The scorer is the 'trialis't who the reporter believes is Jordan Morton. His current club????

St.Mirren 2-0 against Dumbarton tae, Teale and Thompson.

That Teale will be a very decent player for them.

It would be hilarious if he spends as much time on the sidelines this season as sicknote Kyle.

Superb. A few choice snippets from Sickbag:

Jambogjh: Looking forward to this game tonight, the team should at this stage of pre season be at 80% so we should get a good idea how the team will look when we face weegies. 5 - 0 for the Jam Tarts tonight.

The Imp: Eggy back...as is Elliott. Sending a pretty strong team for this glamour friendly.
I predict a 4-0 Hearts win.

post-match...

Chester Copperpot: I'm never setting foot inside Tynie again till Jefferies goes.

And the winner was scored by Jon Robertson.

So Hibees; how many of you are masquerading as Hertz fans tonight on JKB? :greengrin

FT - 2-1 Cowdenbeath.

It's only a friendly. It's all about fitness and the result is secondary.

There's a lot of truth in what you say....the fact that their star signing was crocked makes it rather amusing.

It makes me feel slightly better about our defeat to Livingston last week.

I would be heartbroken if John Sutton is out long term...

Excellent result for the Yams. Thought they may have been the victims of a real good pumping tonight in Cowden but they've come away with a respectable 2-1 defeat.

Reading the match thread just now, they got awfy excited when they pulled it back to 1-1, then it was dead when it was 2-1 with the exception of a few ***** excuses :faf: Typical yams, everywhere when they're winning/we're losing, hide when they're losing/we're winning :agree:

A young fit Bruce Willis with hair would slot in nicely at right back. An all out action hero with a good tackle is what we're needing!!

Have Hearts fans ever travelled to Fife before to play a team in blue, with the expectations of winning the game comfortably but ending up getting horsed late on?

I feel as though they have, but I'm not 100% sure. Can anyone else shed any light on this?

Not sure about TO Fife but pretty sure they may have travelled THROUGH Fife in order to attend such a fixture - ....just can't quite remember what that fixture might have been
