My guess is that it is to do with a particular forward who played for us in the 70's and the number of pies he scoffed during the half time interval.

Are you sure it wasn't chelsea shorts noticed a pic as you describe with one of the laddies wearing them and thought it was weird

I thought they named the kids after where they were concieved. Brooklyn in Brooklyn etc.
