If CC does leave us,what do you guys think of a Sammy Lee as a manager? I know I will hear about hes a number two in his current job,and not as good as Billy Davies,Strachan,Terry Butcher,but hear me out on this please before im shot down in flames.

Uefa pro license,2002,liverpool assistant,bolton assistant and manager,england national team,worked with houllier,sven,allerdyce,king kenny,played in european cup winning sides.
I think this guy has a winning mentality in his blood,and learned all he needs to be a success in the SPL.

Will duck for cover now...:duck::duck:

He had a pretty disastrous spell in charge of Bolton IIRC. Don't think he's management material, he has never struck me as a good communicator.

I know that we were ahead of them in terms of fitness, but I couldn't believe how bad his Bolton team was when we beat them 3-0 at ER.

our present and last incumbent not great communicators either lol.I think he would be a not bad shout,and he may have decent contacts down south,you cant be at a club like liverpool for so long and kept on by so many managers if you are doing something wrong.....as I say,I fully expected to be shot down,but he has got to be better than a livi manager ffs.

Reminds me of CC. A good number 2 but never a manager.

He'll remember Hibs and Easter Road as we pumped Bolton 3-0

Clarke's just been given Lee's job, so that's him out of the equation.

Well at least he doesn't have big shoes to fill.
