That's a great watch on youtube!

Wonder just what songs and insults the stadium is directing at the players as they cower behind the stewards? I genuinely think they shoud be fearful for their lives.

Sad times though. As a young boy in the mid 80's i can vaguely remember watching Trans World Sport, C4 on a Saturday morning i think, and they always had we clips of Argentinian football. I remember noticing Rivers strip and how unusual it was with it's red diagonal stripe and quite liking it became a sort of ocassional long distance fan.
I've had a few of the tops over the years and remember having seen a few when i've been out in Barcelona, which was good!

Watching the clip makes you thing what it would be like if ever Rangers or Celtic were to be relegated, i'd imagin Glasgow would be wiped off the map :agree:

I get the sentiment but football violence in South America is unbelievable. 14 people have lost thier lives due to football related violence in Argentina this season (or so I read, possibly in the Sunday Herald).

Check out the scenes from the Copa Libatadores final this year between Santos and Penarol as well (can't post links from my phone but it's bound to be on YouTube somewhere).

It's been a terrible season in Scottish fitba' (bombs, bullets, bigotry and now beasts) but the weekly football related violence in Argentina is on another level IMO.

Here's a wee clip to cheer up any Millionarios.

What passion and what a player Enzo Francescoli was!
