Completely support him. This is getting widespread in eastern europe at the moment. But will players taking direct action start a dangerous precedent? Could fans try to get games called off by making a fruit salad on the pitch? Thoughts?

I thought this was a dashing bob post.

Dangerous precedent?! I'd say you've used that as a figure of speech. If not, gives a **** if a player walks off the pitch after being abused I'm white and have only had racism directed towards me a couple of times. **** being black in Russia.

His whole team should have went off with him. A great lb of our generation is literally crushed and was rumoured to be in tears at what happened.

While I can completely understand why he would want to leave the pitch, I don't think it would help if the whole team walked off the pitch. To me that means the racists win. If someone made a racist comment to me, I would ignore it and console myself with the knowledge that I'm better than the person that made it.

Was it thrown by his own fans or the away fans?

All of them walking off would demonstrate that it's unacceptable and show support for him.

And to think that his club just met the 40 million asking price for neymar. I'm guessing they've no chance for footballing reasons.

That would maybe work if the racism was from the home fans but if it was from the away fans then RC team would forfeit the game and that then the racists would win. It would also encourage other racist away fans.

Regardless of what set of fans it was, the both teams and the Russian FA should come out with a statement against it.
