Renewed today after seeing the club go steadily about its business by bringing in potentially decent players. Still think there is work to do with regards to bringing one or two more in to improve the general quality and depth of the squad but as I gave the likes of Mowbray, Collins, Mixu and Hughes a fair crack of the whip felt I had to do the same with Calderwood.

Typical the people that run scottish football dont give a **** about the fans, what with the first home game being in the middle of the holidays, Monday games, Sunday games and lunchtime Saturday games a season ticket for us will actuallyt not be worth it despite having 3 for 15 years now.
I would be better off walking up for games whichh would probably mean not attending the holy ground in adverse weather conditions

Renewed as soon as the renewal window opened :thumbsup::thumbsup:

I'm not basing renewing on who we sign. I done it because i've done it for the last 12 years and I love Hibs too much not to renew :thumbsup::thumbsup:

It appears in this present poor economic climate, that a few persons (myself included) are putting their own families/finances before Hibs.

In my honest opinion, I do not think that the Hibernian officials have given the supporters a great deal of thought in their season ticket incentive package.

The season past has been one of the worse seasons for a good few years.

A good few supporters have emailed/telephoned the club with their concerns.
Their appears to be a slight arrogance from the board towards the supporters who are raising their passionate concerns from what has been previously posted.

If Motherwell, who finished above us can sell season tickets at £300 for 1 adult and 2 children, then why cant we?
There is every chance that they will achieve greater attendances next season than they did this past season, "speculate to accumulate" - I like that saying.

I am currently finding it harder to speculate with Hibs and I would gladly give them my money to accumulate, if I could see a reasonable return.

Yes x 2. Agree the prices are steep but I regarded the free cup top up a decent incentive considering how much it used to cost.

If I had had a season ticket through the drudgery of last season, I wouldn't have renewed up until about now, with the club starting to show their hand re: transfers.

As it stands, I'll be getting to 2/3 games max next season :boo hoo:and as much as last season was grim, I can't wait to get myself down to the LHSC in front of the idiot box to watch us when we're on.

I am currently finding it harder to speculate with Hibs and I would gladly give them my money to accumulate, if I could see a reasonable return.

There was a discussion about pricing recently and it was noted that dropping the prices might not be a plausible solution because the increase in sales would not be enough to cover the loss of revenue. While not disputing that point, I think that even if we did lose some revenue it might be worth it if it meant a more (full) Easter Road on match days.

I was looking online today to see if I can buy a HibernianTV season pass and I found this wrt to normal season tickets (I searched the forums for 100 and nothing was returned so either the search function doesn't work or this has never been mentioned on here before):

MEMBER GET MEMBER INCENTIVE - PLAY YOUR PART
If you renew your Season Ticket Membership and recruit a lapsed Season Ticket holder to rejoin the Hibernian family by taking up a Season Ticket Membership for 2011/12, the Club will give you £100 (£50 for a Concessions renewal) voucher to spend in the Clubstore .

100 quid seems reasonable. I appreciate it's not 100 quid in your pocket because you have to spend it in the club shop but if you were planning on spending money there anyway, it is money saved. Not sure what fine-print there might be regarding "lapsed holders". My assumption is they are referring to fans who didn't have a season ticket last year as opposed to fans who are not planning on renewing this year.

Yup...

Unfortunately though there were 4 of us last season, and only 2 this season.

Sister lost interest and Dad no longer thinks it's worth it the time, money and effort (He works on saturday's also).

Hopefully a couple more signings will help those on the fence make the decision.

Had a half season ticket the year before. It's too expensive.

I get my old mans ticket for him and he has chosen after 40+ years not to go back. Going to watch the Juniors instead. Reasons for not renewing is that he is bored watching the same teams 4 x a season and also feels the new stand has killed the atmosphere in the stadium.

Dad and I renewed, but after his contract with the Government was terminated (Sole Trader) and a rather swift change in personal circumstances myself has led to money being extremely tight, so we could not commit to things going forward and cancelled. Will still be there at every game financially possible :aok:

I didn't renew as I've never had a ST before but bought two for the east stand (albeit disabled and carer tickets).
Looking forward to lots of games next season. Last season, I only made 4 games as I had to pay full walk up prices for me and my carer (he was unemployed).
