Normally takes me a wee bit to get into the TV coverage, even of the majors, but today was brilliant.

Rory McIlroy has shat all over the USGA and Congressional. I sincerely hope he keeps it up and gets his first of many!

Another blistering day for Rory.

Some stellar golf from the young man. -10 today, with -3 still being the closest.

I hope he can keep his concentration going. The difference between this week and the masters is he is holing some putts. He can only throw it away IMO. Now -11. Just awsome.

Edit- make that -12. Give him the title now.

-13. He has a ten shot lead playing the last. The ten shot re has just been blown out the water.:) he really can only throw it away now. The afternoon players must be thinking they need to just not bother and go home.

I don't know an awful lot about golf but I'm guessing that if McIlroy messes it up from this position, he'll probably go into early retirement!

Especially after his spectacular decline at The Masters a couple of months back.
