I thought he signed for Peterhead.

I thought they had just put in an inquiry? Can't understand why he would go there

Quotes from that seem to suggest he would rather sign for a team that he will get a game for rather than moving purely for money and while his scoring record seems good its a big step up from part time in Div 2 to the SPL and can he really see himself getting a game ahead of O'Connor & Sodje or Rooney if we sign him :dunno:

I suppose it would be worth the risk as i cant imagine he will be that expensive and we have a good record of developing young(ish) players with a bit of talent and you just need to look at Ivan Sproule to see what can be achieved with this type of signing.

I reckon he would be worth the gamble personally as from the limited footage I have seen of him ie playing against St Johnstone in the cup last season he looks as though he could step up to playing SPL football if given the correct coaching and patience by club and fans alike. I reckon Aberdeen if they make a bid for him will be his destination though as I would assume he works and lives closer to there than Edinburgh.

£600 a week is why.

Would be a reasonable squad player given our lack of options.

If he looks at O'Connor and Sodje he might wonder where he would fit in?

He will probably realise that O'Connor and Sodje won't play every minute of every game and think that as Hibs have only 2 strikers he is guaranteed a place on the bench and he would start games through injury, loss of form, suspensions, etc.

£600 a week is why.£600 is a HUGE wage for Peterhead, by the way. Don't be so dismissive.

Today's Sun saying he turned down St Mirren.
