I imagine their fans said much the same thing.
I'm all for the odd friendly with a bit of glamour but in terms of preparation for the season ahead the Barca game a while back did nothing for us.
This is exactly the sort of team we should be playing and look on the bright side - at least we don't have to go to Barnsley!

They were the last team he played for. He only left them this spring. I think the post went over your head.

Not quite Ajax, but pretty sure I'll be there all the same (even though I'd have preferred it at Oakwell for obvious reasons).
I agree oakwell would have been a good move. 10 quid in though so can't complain.

I don't know. I am just wondering if they will applaud him or jeer him. Don't know what he was like at Barnsley.
