An excellent investment for anyone who bought it for 5p 38 years ago.

Trying to think what else you could buy for that amount in 1973. Probably a bag of chips or 10 Woodbine. I know a pint of lager was about 13p that year as I remember you could go out with £1 and get sloshed on 8 pints.

Happy days. :greengrin

You would only get seven pints at that price.:greengrin

I've still got my match ticket stub for the game (standing enclosure) and the programme which is without a doubt the most treasured in my collection.
My laddie regards my programme collection as part of his inheritance so there's no' much chance of me cashing in even if I wanted to.

Maybe that will work? When I searched I only had one page of results. I ordered by price (high first) and found it no problem. :aok:

Heres a link to mine, helped the boys fill a gap in their programme collection and to be fair they were happy to put it in their archive. I made the effort to download every page so nice to see Alan Gordon's contribution reflected in the centre page. Had an offer of £250 but nae chance........

I sold a 0-7 programme a good few years back on ebay and got £140 for it. Helped fund a European trip to Belgium.

Have another one that I would never part with.

Yeah i got handed a huge box when i was younger which has a load of Hibs and Aberdeen programmes including Aberdeen's Cup Winners Cup and other big Final? But i don't have the 7-0 game one so will buy it in the future.

I have the 2 recent Liverpool European Cup Final one's too which will sell for a fair bit in the future but mine are going nowhere.
