Anyone else remember when Sammy Baird came to Hibs? Having been booed as a filthy b*****d every time he touched the ball when he played for Rangers, suddenly we were cheering his every tackle! He was our dirt b*****d now!

Of course he was well past his best by the time he came to Easter Road. And today, he wouldn't have lasted on the field for ten minutes without being sent off. But I remember him as a good footballer - driving the team on a bit like Eddie Turnbull when he moved back into midfield.
