Just seen the pic on the back of the EEN with Ian Murray and the directors running for charity (no pic on web page) and the pitch is looking a bit threadbare. Has this been ripped up and re-seeded again?

Rumours are CC doesn't see the need for any grass in the middle, just make sure both boxes have some..

Why are we bothering re-seeding a pitch when we don't have any players, why are we not siging anyone, CC is a prick:grr:

Didn't realise CC doubled up as groundsman these days. Good economising Petrie

Think we need one of our roving photographers to sneak and take a few better pics than that. :greengrin

Nothing wrong with that surface imho as it looks like it has not long been top dressed with sand and worked in with a brush attachment. If I was groundsman there I would be very confident of having a wonderful surface come mid July!

Thanks for that. I was just a bit worried that the pitch had been re-seeded again. Lets hope it hold up a bit better than last season though to be fair we did have some horrendous conditions over the winter.

Is Murray saying "If you think I'm slow you should see this lot"?

Motherwell have called in Irish experts to relay their pitch and it looks great compared to the last couple of seasons.
