Hibs.net syndrome comes into play when a keen, young Hibby posts their honest opinion on the message board in the naive hope that it will spark some intelligent and thought provoking debate only to be confronted by allegations of yamishness.

Extreme cases can result in the subject being ejected, known colloquially as being launched.

Paris syndrome is mild in comparison.
