I think we should try to get Ivar Ingimarsson signed up. Just been released from Reading. A good solid experienced pro at centre half is just what we need. What does everybody think?

Sounds too much like Ivor the Engine.
No thanks.

Petrie would be rubbing his hands with the thought of shirt sales.

I think its pointless to talk about it as no player that we have thought up ourselves has ever signed for Hibs.

Ivar has struggled badly with injuries over the last couple of seasons and I suspect there's not much left in the tank. I'd rather have Bryn Gunnarsson, but I see he's been offered an extension to his contract.
Zurab Khizanishvili is a free agent as well, but he's probably out of our league. Very good player though, despite his 'mare at Wembley.

His early career showed promise but then he went off the rails.

He'll be no good. Got no room for passengers at Easter Road. Besides I don't think he'll last the distance.
