Sounds pretty even so far. Kebe is some player. He's fast and skillful. When he first arrived at the MadStad, he was the Royals version of Konte. But he's turned into a player.

Celtic are watching Shane Long.

How was the ex hun not sent off?

Dobbie looks a lot fitter than his Hibs days. I would guess about 2 stone fitter

Ref bottled it, I hate it when referees overlook an obvious booking because the player already has a yellow card.

Does this mean that he wouldn't be a big player for us any more? Wouldn't be able to give us the width we need?

It's a damn shame.

Khisnashvilly is pretty shoddy. Good finish but the jersey's were by the boy with the almost unspellable name.

Swansea goal: Incredible. I make that three clear-cut chances, three Swansea goals - and Brendan Rodgers' boys have one foot in the Premier League. Nathan Dyer's cross from the right is only lazily prodded at by Zurab Khizanishvili and it falls straight to Scott Dobbie, who side-foots past a helpess Adam Federici for the Swans' third.

1541: GOALFLASH Reading 0-3 Swansea (Dobbie)

Quality game. If Reading do come back into it then Swansea would have every right to complain that Khizanishvilli should have been off in the first half.

My preference was Reading from the kick off. I think most neutrals love it when the team that are losing by a good margin stage a terrific comeback. Just waiting for the equaliser now. :aok:

Only saw this game by chance - after rewarding myself with a quick drink in robbies after a stint in the garden. Didn't turn out to be quite so quick tho thanks to a fantastic game of football. I probably favoured Swansea due to Steven Dobbie in their line up (cool finish for his goal too) but I was almost willing Reading to get an equaliser to keep the game going.
Thoroughly enjoyed the match - just a pity there had to be a loser.
Made me glad to be a fitba' fan after such a cr*p season. :aok:

Think that the teams in the lower part of the EPL will be glad that those three have come up and will fancy their chances to end up above them. QPR' s financial clout may make a difference though.

An amazing game, but the chap I was watching it with spoiled it completely by calling it 'the play off for the right to get relegated from the Premiership next year.'

Would love to see them confound the odds but...Blackpool...

Oh, one more thing...didn't the Swansea manager come across as a very gracious and classy chap? He went straight to the Reading manager, then the reading players to genuinely commiserate, before going to his own team to celebrate.

Brendan's one of the good guys.

He was sacked by Reading after a terrible 6 months in charge. McDermott was chief scout when he was there, took over as manager and turned them round immediately. Despite all that he still seems to be quite well liked a the MadStad and of course he knows McDermott and the players quite well. I think the general feeling amongst Reading fans is to wish him well through gritted teeth.

It just shows how contrasting the fortunes of managers can be at times - Brendan Rogers had barely been at Watford (and had done ok) before he was given the Reading job, and 6 months later he was sacked with Reading facing relegation.

He then gets the Swansea job after Paolo Sousa took the Leicester job - Sousa too was then sacked after a disasterous start, despite doing very well at Swansea. Now Rogers has Swansea in the Premiership 18 months after it looked like he was taking Reading (who had recently been in the Premiership) into League One - beating Reading in the final who had a dramatic renaissance under the former chief scout after he left.
