It's been blowing a gale for literally weeks.
Why?
Is the world coming to an end or something?
It's getting right on my thrupennies.

Payback for a wind free April.
And some.
I watched a U13 final just now and it was a joke, with what must have been a 50mph constant wind right down the park. It actually blew a set of goals over just before kick off!
When you add in the showers that flew overhead every so often it was a miracle both sets of boys managed to stand up straight, never mind attempt to play football.

It's getting right on my thrupennies.I'm sure I read it has something tae do with unusual behaviour of the jet stream. Seems tae be causing differnet problems in different place round the globe.

Bought a trampoline for back garden last week. Survived Mondays winds but has been blown over today snapping the poles for the safety net.

Bit of an irrelevant reply here, but I can never read the word 'literally' without thinking of this, which never fails to cheer me up:

It's the acceptable face of of children's programming :not worth
P.S. The wind is a complete nuisance. Needs to stop now.

Supposed to die down by the end of this week. I might finally get to go fishing again.....

Leith Links is not the best place to be on a windy Sunday morning at 10am, it was horrendous, I checked the met weather app and it said the wind was 27mph but that must have been nonsense because we were having to hold the goalposts down to stop them blowing away, it felt every bit as bad as Monday's.

Football and Skate Park have both been out of the question for the past couple of weeks down here; I'm quickly running out of things to do after work, during the week.
This is supposed to be summer!

We were driving back from Detroit last night and seen a tornado - awesome but scary sight to behold :greengrin

Ok, starting tio feel less sorry for myself now. :greengrin
Would have been an amazing (and pretty surreal) experience I'd imagine.

Whenever the weather in this country gets on my nerves I console myself with the thought that at least we don't get hurricanes, tornadoes or plagues of locusts in this country!
My sympathies go to anyone who has problems with wind. :greengrin

You should have been in the Isle of Arran last week. Constant rain and wind. Ferries cancelled one day.
It's a beautiful place but it's hard to see it through a downpour. Also there is nothing to do when the weather is bad.
That's the problem with Scotland holidays.

Hence why the country has a drink problem.
