I understand that in the madman's latest address to the proletariat over-by he was insinuating that there were darker forces at work, all beavering away with the sole aim of preventing his team from splitting the OF (presumably).

Nah. Nothing untoward or out of the ordinary in Mad Vlad's remarks. Jeffries is there for the long haul and seems to have Vlad's backing for the sensibly early strengthening (some say weakening :greengrin) of their squad. His anger at the Jambo fall from grace in the second half of the season is understandable but he won't get rid of Jeffries. Unfortunately IMHO, anyone looking for comfort and solace in future Jambo goings on will probably find slim pickings.
