In saying that it doesn't say anywhere about him looking forward to wearing it next season.....

Or maybe making a sideways move to be new manager of the club shop?

Did you think he was leaving?

He's not been in the team, rumours of St Mirren interest, vast majority of people thinking he has a had a below par season and looks like he is loosing the legs?

If it was any other player he would be getting the same treatment this season as Nish, McBride, Rankin etc.

You're team will cement it's place in the bottom 6 with players of this calibre.
He would still get into my Hibs team next year.

I've been watching him on the park. And reading "all" the posts.

Me too, its players like him and the dross that have been released that have got us to the heady heights of 10th place. There's very few i would keep, and he's not one of them.

To be fair, while Ian Murray is on his last legs and has always had fairly limited ability, he's worth having around for the last year(?) of his contract. He's committed, knows what the club is about and should be a good influence on younger players. I don't think there's much chance of him being a first team regular but that doesn't stop him having a role to play, particularly when we are looking like relying so heavily on youngsters such as Spoony, Booth and Palsson.

Has he not had talks with Dunfermline?

There was never any question of Murray leaving, he is under contract and I would be hopeful he would be given another on beyond this, especially having watched the likes of Palsson and Scott towards the end of last season - he definaltly has a positive role to play next year.

Will still be a useful utility player for us next season IMO. Apparently he's always fancied living in America and may move there after his contract expires.
