This probably shouldn't be put on the main board, but it's quite a big deal so I'm going to try and give it as much publicity as possible (before it gets swiftly moved to the Cheese Board).

Anyway, basically my friend Tom and I have made it into the final of the 'Tractor Factor' - a nationwide competition run by Yeo Valley and Farmers Guardian. The competition required anyone living or working on a farm to do a parody of a popular song in honour of Yeo Valley's successful rapping advertising campaign. The prize is 4 tickets to Glastonbury and the chance to play on stage there.

Here's our effort:

Now we need your votes to take us to Glastonbury. It's all down to the public vote from here. Please please please head across to the following link and vote - just tick 'Just In Peebles' and press submit.

Thanks a lot - hope you enjoyed watching me make an a*se out of myself.

Edit - just off for a photo shoot with The Sun now. They are ridiculously keen for the story, must be a slow news day.

Done.

You're in with a decent shout, the Girls A'cowed one is alright and so is the DJ Wooly ft. Will.I.Lamb one though.

Excellent. I can imagine that chorus being sung at Easter Road next season. All we have to do now is find a player called Daisy.

Good luck.

Having had a wee look at the vid myself, I don't think the lads will be doing what you dream about in the same context that I imagine you are dreaming about it! :greengrin

Vote cast for you guys but................can't help that the young ladies' entries might do well amongst young farmer voting types what with the heaving cleavages and short skirts/shorts they have on display in their vids even if their singing voices ain't the best!

Good luck! :agree:
