He had that much time that he could have got down on his hands and knees and headed the ball in. Anyone else used to do that. :greengrin

Hope he appealed it because as far as I can tell it's not a bookable offence.

Agree a ref without a sense of humour. Too many of them in the game.

It was back in the 80s, under 15s IIRC and the reason given was 'ungentlemanly conduct'. I only mind cos I got booked for 'dissent' when I shook my head in exasperation and faux-outrage whilst saying 'aw c;mon ref' to the guys face. Numpty.
