I thought the lad put in a good performance. Won lots of tackles and was quick to move the ball forward.

Hope we manage to deal a deal for him to stay.

:agree:(even if his finishing was woeful - from about 6 yards managed to kick the ball against himself rather than into a near open goal)

Waste of a good right back.

I noticed he was always looking for the ball. Sign of a good player imo.

Did more in his time at right back than taggart did all game.

Towell's hugely overrated on here. Good at throw-ins, not bad putting a cross in, crap defender. He's a poor man's Whittaker.

Looked very good as a midfielder but would definatly play him right back. For somebody that young I can't believe he's that mature, hopefully he'll be back next season :agree:

One of the very few bright spots for today was Towell's performance or at least the 75 minutes I seen. Him and Miller looked decent once they settled into the game together.

Not a bad player but couldn't care less if he never returned.

As a right back don't see him being the answer.

Certainly hope he's with us next season. We could do with a few more with his level of commitment.

Waste of a good right back.

He is a reasonable right back but a very ordinary midfield player. A pointless exercise from Calderwood.

:agree: Said same during game, always looking for ball and probably my Man of Match.

Hope he is back next season
