Very poor indeed (understatement). I have serious doubts as to his ability to turn it round. Think we need to give him chance to do just that though (the board who appointed him have no choice to be frank!) :agree:

I would quite like someone to break down just how many of Calderwood's defeats were Hughes' fault, and how many were in games that were meaningless/didn't matter. I'm sure it's not too bad after those ones are taken away

We've lost as many games as the team that was relegated.

It depends what you class as a meaningless game? With each place worth a good few thousand pounds, that was another large sum of money thrown down the toilet today.

TBU - True but useless. Stats in themselves dont tell us where the problem lies.
But if people insist on the stats line look at the stats for Aberdeen managers to see whether constantly changing managers is the solution...

Conceded the most goals in the league - including Hamilton who only won 5 games. Some work on the defence needed from an international level defender boss.

Sorry, I was just being sarcastic - loads on here keep saying that Yogi is to blame for much of this, and that the last 6 games haven't mattered.

I think that Calderwood has been awful, and can't see how he can possibly turn things around in 7 weeks before we have to go through it all again. Finishing the season with 4 straight defeats (as well as losing our last 3 home games) is not only depressing and demoralising, it means that Calderwood is under huge pressure from game one in July.

He got sacked at Notts Forest. A monkey could have gotten them promoted, but he took two attempts. Then he had them heading back down when Davies was brought in to save the day.

Yip. Although Butcher wouldn't be one of my first choices, fans should think about this:

Inverness have a playing budget a quarter of the size of ours and they finished 16 points ahead of us. Whatever anybody says about investment being required, the real problem here is the managers we keep on employing. Everyone since Mowbray has been poor, wasting money on poor players.

And one man has to take the ultimate blame for that - Petrie.

Was it the same at Northampton Town when he got them promoted?

How come Forest were not promoted in the season before Calderwood was appointed if a 'monkey' could have done it?

I'd go as far to say that you post total lies when it comes to Calderwood.

or to keep the analogy going...........it's not the size that matters, it's what you do with it. It's obvious to all that CC does not have the biggest cock however he doesn't seem to have the slightest clue what to do with it.

My take on it is that once he had established that his cock was not permanently damaged, he decided to experiment with it. To find out what he could do with it, to try it in different situations, to see what was possible and what wasn't, and to explore its potential.

Now that he knows, next season we will see a much more settled and experienced cock. He knows what it can do, and what outside help it needs.

I am looking forward to much decent phecking next season.

:agree: If you finish a season this badly, you HAVE to start the following season brightly. I have absolutely no faith in CC having the ability to sign the 6 or 7 players required to transform this team. And, even worse, I don't think he is capable of motivating them. You need to be capable of emotions to do that.

I agree, his cock will be bigger and better and we should see more from it next year. Ironically, it will be at it's best once he decides to offload the rest of the phannies who work under him. :agree:
