While looking at Ebay to see what memorabilia was up for sale I came upon this item which is a copy of a photograph which I uploaded to Flickr a few years ago. The seller unfortunately has never informed me or requested my permission to copy this image and subsequently offer it for sale and I have now reported them to ebay for breach of copyright.

I am not really sure who has signed the print which is not an artist's impression as stated but a straight copy of the original photo. Check it for yourselves!

He's run it through some sort of filter, as you obviously realise, but eBay are actually not bad at removing these things from sale. You should seek legal redress as well - you'd definitely win.

Thanks to the help of magpie 1892 the seller has now withdrawn all items from auction and is cr**ping himself at the thought of being exposed in the press!

I will be watching carefully to see that he doesn't reappear after the heat has died down.

He's begging now. And he's made his feedback history private so I can't see his customers. I already counted them though... 85 sales of 'prints' from other people's work. Low cost, high margin - but, as we see, zero chance of it lasting...
