Anyone know any pubs going to be showing this? Its a box office fight, and im going to be out all day so wont be able to catch it at home, so was wondering what pubs around town might show it?

Cheers

Three Sisters usually show the big fights on the outdoor screen so might be a shout. The casinos usually have all the big fights on as well.

Hope Groves gives DeGale an absolute beating to take him down a peg or two and teach him that every opponent should e respected before and especially after a fight.

Three sisters it is then! Given my track record in casinos, ill be stearing well clear!

Totally agree, quite like this Groves as a person as well, seems pretty down to earth, hard working - not your average "up his own arse" boxer. The history between the two though should (touch wood) make a belter of a fight

I think DeGale will win this although I hope he doesn't as I think he's an arrogant twat, would love to see Groves win this.

Was a good fight! Wanted Degale to win but to be fair Groves done really well. Enjoyed it though.

Brilliant stuff from Groves. I had him winning it by 2 rounds but i'm sure he'll happily take the majority verdict.

Really bold stuff from him and Adam Booth to have the guts to go in there and fight in exactly the way that DeGale said he wouldn't. DeGale constantly said all Groves would do was throw bombs from the centre of the ring and he mocked Groves for trying to 'be David Haye'. Groves went in there tonight and boxed skillfully on the outside, landed 2 and 3 punch combinations, defended reasonably well and boxed really well off the back foot.

DeGale deserves credit as well as it was far from a bad performance from him. However i predicted a Groves win in this a while ago and i tipped him as a future world champ, i stand by that. The difference between Groves and DeGale is that Groves seems to realise he has to put the work in, he respects his opponents. DeGale on the other hand seems to think a world title will be handed to him on a plate and has constantly bad mouthed everyone he has fought both before and after the fight. Before a fight is understandable but after the fight everyone deserves respect especially some of the journeymen who earn less from boxing in their entire careers than DeGale earns for 1 nights work. Hopefully DeGae goes away and has a look at himself tonight and comes back a better, more humble fighter and ritain can look forward to having 2 great super middleweights.

These boys will meet again, but well done to groves. Great tactics. Thought De Gale might sneak it at the end but was please for groves.

Really like the look of Cleverley tho

Brilliant from Groves, great tactics is what won him the fight, he went out there with a plan and it worked. DeGale looked lost at times.

To be fair, either of them could have won that but I'm delighted Groves did, hopefully that's given DeGale a much needed reality check.

Thought Cleverley looked very impressive too taking into consideration the fact that his opponent was changed 3 times in the space of 24 hours or something along they lines, thought the ref could have let the fight go on a little longer though.

I had DeGale ahead by three, but I don't think anyone could argue with the decision as almost every round was incredibly tight.

Cleverley really didn't impress me at all. He put his chin in the air to be hit when he stepped in, and had he fought anybody with slightly heavier hands, he'd have been in trouble.

Spot on. That's the big difference between the boxer with self-belief who is trying to hype himself and the fight up, and the genuinely obnoxious, arrogant t*at, how they relate to opponents after the fight.
