Listening to the Liverpool fans tonight was a bit like listening to a Celtic game. Their list of songs is almost identical.

Although I am an Toffes fan, if KD gets the job and makes a few excellent defensive and midfield signings in the summer I can see Liverpool being right up there come April/May 2012. Kuty, Carroll, Maxi, Merieles and Suarez will get them plenty of goals.

They just need to avoid the silly results like 1-1 at home to Wigan etc.

Listening to the Liverpool fans last night I think our singing section could learn a lot from them. This is by no means a dig at the singing section. Merely a suggestion. They sang for the whole of the second half - reason being - they have catchy, imaginative songs. The new Maxi Rodriguez one is class, and they belted it out over and over again! Added to that their adaptation of 'i just cant get enough' for Suarez - it made for an electric atmosphere.

Great game great goals great atmosphere. But is Kenny the man for the job or is it the backroom staff making him look good?

Is that not the purpose of having a backroom staff ?
If they are not making input why employ them :rolleyes:

5th place a distinct possibility now :thumbsup:

I think Steve Clarke is an excellent coach as he now appears to be taking the training. Maybe what might have been for Hibs as they look brilliant and sharp at the moment.

From the Beeb;

Dalglish also recognised the impact of the former Chelsea and West Ham coach and played down his own role in the club's recent run.
"It's not a one-man band by any shape or form," he insisted.
"We've done fantastically well since January and it's great credit to the players, Steve Clarke, Sammy [Lee] and the backroom staff."

Bet the Liverpool fans were wishing they had this team/backroom staff in place since the start of the season - the trophy would very possibly be heading to Liverpool instead of Manchester!

They've played some great football since January and were absolutely sensational last night :agree:

Thats coz Celtic fans have nicked all their songs from Liverpool fans.
