I think it says it all when a serious candidate for player of the year didn't even make their first team debut until the second half of the season.

Paul Hanlon - while the rest of the "players" have been little short of embarrassing, at least he has made steady, if unspectacular, progress.

Very hard one but opted for hanlon, had booth had the whole season playing, I would have went with him.

Been a terrible season, only Hanlon has really impressed over the entire year. Sodje has been a good signing but hes only been here since January.

Just looking at that list, overall its a fairly uninspiring bunch of players. CC has his work cut out over the summer.

Hanlon for me. Young player, still learning his trade, had to put up with some dross partnering him in the centre of defence, plus new (younger) defensive colleagues in Towell and Booth.

And as if that wasn't difficult enough, Calderwood throws the captaincy at him!

Has been a truly terrible season, but I've been impressed by Hanlon.

Booth is the only player worthy of any sort of accolade this season. If Hanlon has been our best player this season, it only reinforces how bad we've been.

:agree: I honestly cant pick out a player who has done well this year. Im not even convinced about Hanlon, although time is on his side.

Both Managers have spoken about the soft silly goals wee have conceded after nearly every game this season, Hanlon has been part of it, yes he is young and still learning his trade but the last few games he has just been as bad as bombscare Dikoh, as said Booth is the only player who could hold his head up when picking up his award, no awards for anyone else, not deserved.

Probably the first time in over 40yrs as a hibby that i can't pick somebody as a player of the season.

None of them deserve it other than young Booth and as he was only involved since January !!

Most inconsistent and poorest Hibs team in years and believe me I've seen and lived through a few !! Even in the dark days of Alex Miller and Jim Duf.fy there was always one or two stand out players but alas this season nobody has done it over the course of the season
