There will be a few on here agreeing with you if they turn us over on Saturday.

Every time we get beaten by a so called poorer team a player is always picked out as one we should sign.

FWIW I reckon Imrie is decent but I would like to sign better.

Imrie is bang average and over-rated. I don't get the hype.

Bottom 6 of the SPL is the highest level the guy will ever play.

So ask yourself if it's these type players we really should be signing.

I'd take him..

He's a far better player than Lewis Stevenson who we somehow managed to give a new contract too

I like him. He did brilliantly to win the Sportsound most MOTM awards last season only playing from January. Definitely has a touch of class. Reckon those who are saying he's average have only really seen him against us and assume that because he's merely at Hamilton he can't hack it. He's their best player, should we sign cast offs from the championship instead?

Andy Dorman at St Mirren was similar the season before and there were calls to sign him. Where did he end up?

Ah okay. If it happened to Andy Dorman then we shouldn't sign another player.

What about James McFadden, Simon Lappin, Paul Quinn, James McCarthy

Did we try to sign any of those players or are you just picking out random players who have done well since leaving wee teams in the SPL?

I went to the Hamilton game yesterday and Imrie was excellent - good pace, movement, awareness, energy!!

He would walk into Hibs current starting eleven!!

Bin Laden would walk into our central defence but it doesn't make him the answer to our problems!

Imrie, as already posted earlier by sixtwo, is a poor mans John Rankin. It would be a huge mistake to let Rankin, Nish and Trakys go and settle for replacing them with Imrie, Higdon and Hasselbaink.

Given that Hamilton are almost completely Donald D'd for money, and would take any decent offer, does it not tell you something that this boy is still wearing their jersey despite many MOTM's awards?
