I know things have been put into reality with the Loss of ET for me the greatest Hibs team and manger ever.

really easy to say these things and sometimes memories can trick people.
Some games in the seventies were absolutely dire, that's a ten year period you have lumped into one word and the whole of football has changed since those days.
The only way to progress is to move forward, learn what you can from the past but move on, change, perhaps survive if that is what is required at the time.
