1st game of the season: Stack, Hart, Hogg, Bamba, Hanlon, McBride, De Graaf, Miller, Riordan, Stokes, Nish.
Yesterday: Divis, Towell, Dickoh, Stephens, Hanlon, Scott, Vaz Te, Booth, Palsson, Stevenson, Sodje.
So if Hanlon has a secret twin brother and the two teams lined up, who would win?!

Based soley on ability they would both lose

The first game team would annihilate yesterdays team. Especially if Stokes was any where near his best form.

Can we have a combination?
Stack
Towell Bamba Hanlon Booth
Miller Palsson McBride Riordan
Sodje Stokes
Might have scraped into the top 6.

I would have loved to see that strike partnership, stokes would have scored a bucketload of goals!

Rose-tinted "things were always better back in the day" thinking IMHO. Usually applied to years or decades previously mind, not earlier in the same season!
With the exceptions of Stack who was out for the rest of 2010, and Stokes who was sold, the starting team that got us into a relegation dogfight, the same one most of the current team (Divis, Stephens & Vaz Te excepted) have just got us out of.

no doubt both teams would concede soft late goals, so perhaps a draw?
