All we need now is some of the so-called grade 1's to take a refresher course :agree:

This is a great idea.

Ten years from now, every Grade One referee in Scotland could be a contracted employee of Hibernian Football Club.

The SFA will soon realise they've shot themselves in the foot thought when these guys break through to senior football and know the rules just as well, if not better than the officials in charge of the match. :greengrin

I believe a couple of the 19's have excelled in this and have been refing some of the lower age group games. There was an article last week in one of the papers about this but can't remember which.

Never mind a refresher course; I don't think yesterday's referee even knew the rules of football in the first place! :grr:
