Real Madrid look much more up for this in the early exchanges. Getting fed up of their players hounding the referee for every decision mind you...

Real SHOULD be down to 10 men - shocking tackle by Pepe.

ESPN America is the only reason I pay the subscription - the football on ESPN is normally pish, aside from the odd Hibs game.

The Padres @ Cubs game has been pretty poor, so I turned over - looks freezing in Chicago :agree:

Was there in the summer 2 years ago and it was a glorious day - quick walk around Navy Pier with what felt like a slight breeze and we were looking for somewhere to warm up!

We went to watch the Cubs play the Cardinals on the same day and it is a "must-visit" stadium - steeped in so much history, that even non-Cubs fans would enjoy it. I'm certainly sure most Hibs fans would sympathise with their hoodoo. Other than Fenway, I've never been truly impressed by any of the baseball stadiums I've been to.

I absolutely cannot believe Pepe still hasn't been booked in the Barcelona vs Real game

Regardless to who ends up winning the Premiership, Arsenal are certainly going to be the most memorable team from this season, considering some of the games they've been involved in.

The 2-3 game vs Tottenham at the Emirates, the 4-4 vs Newcastle at St James', the 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Sunday and now this!

Sadly for them, none of them will be remembered for the right reason :agree:

Disgraceful from Wenger. Barely even looked at Redknapp as he "shook" hands. :bitchy:

Ferguson can be pretty graceless at times when things go against United with his post-match comments but I can't remember too many times where he has failed to acknowledge the opposing manager.

Redknapp did the right thing and just laughed it off.

Still a chance of dropping points I guess, but it's definitely United's to throw away.

A lot will depend on how fatigued the United squad starts to get, as they add in the games with Schalke in the Champions League.

The Everton game should be 3 points, games vs Arsenal and Chelsea should take care of themselves, by the time the Blackburn game comes round they'll hopefully have nothing to play for and I can see Blackpool being already relegated by the final game of the season.

7 or 8 points should be enough for United.

Rafael Nadal is one of the greatest sportsmen that I have ever seen. He is so competitive and so tough to beat but when he does lose, he always does so with great dignity and shows the utmost respect to his opponent.

A rather typical cup-final that promised so much.

The constant antics of certain players trying to get people sent off is bad, very few moments of skill, but even then, there has been snippets.

I think the ref has actually helped the match get this way, as he has been brutal since the first so-called foul in the game and has been blowing for very soft free-kicks for what seems like every 30 seconds.

In saying that, i have not seen either team make so many dodgy passes all season

Its not a great saying though. You can be gracious in losing but be absolutely beeling inside. Any sport when you dont perform and get beaten you should be angry and cross with yourself or you are a loser. If you play your best and are beaten by the better man/team on the day then its easy to be gracious.
For the record there is absolutely nothing wrong with being a bad loser it should however maybe be called being a sore loser to coin an americanism. Being sore doesnt have the negative connotations that being bad does.

Yes, but it is how you convey it.
You might be beeling, but you show respect, if not then it shows exactly the person you are, no respect or class.
It certainly does not make you a better player if you are a complete tool when you get beat

The EPL has some truly shocking matches as well. Alot of the matches between the so-called big four from a few years ago were dreadful to watch.

I would rather watch La Liga than the EPL. Far better to watch.
