Hi Folks
I'm trying to do some research for a project at work. If anybody can help me out by answering this questionnaire, it would massively help me out!

Thanks very much to all who completed, really useful data
Here's to a successful rest of the season! :flag:
Done, although as a PT myself maybe the survey wasn't exactly for me to do but did it for you anyway. :greengrin

Surely you need some information on who and what type of person completed the survey to have any ability to analyse it's outputs?
Also seems to assume that excercise is gym/class/team sports based....excluding the cycling option it should surely consider the amount of walking people do at the very least (i.e not leaving this to other)...if you walk 40 mins to work there and back every day that's a good bit of excercise, this survey may well miss that as people don't always consider such things when being asked if they 'excercise'
Despite my reservation in your ability to garner any useful analysis from this excercise (see what I did there!) I have none the less I have completed it for you and wish you all the best with it :greengrin

SiMar, Thanks very much for taking the time to do the survey and your best wishes. I just thought I would let you know my reasoning for some of the questions and available responses, as much for my own peace of mind as anything else
Firstly I am limited to ten questions simply by the website that hosted the survey. I don't think that being aware of the different demographic groups will affect the information that we are trying to gather. While it definitely would be preferable to have that information, We thought that it would be more useful to have other data
You are correct in saying that the survey is very much sport based. We are trying to establish what people enjoy doing sport-wise and to what extent its linked to a motivation to keep in shape. While walking to work every day is probably one of the best ways to keep weight in check, its more of a functional, necessary action than an active sport.
Cheers for taking the time to do the survey, it's massively appreciated :greengrin

Done.
The only comment I'll make is that there are many useful forms of exercise other those you will find at a gym or leisure centres.
But I suppose -------- if your research is totally about gyms and leisure centres then you are bang on the money.
