Has anyone heard why the Carl Barat gig at the Liquid Room was cancelled tonight? Turned up around eight o'clock, doors locked & no sign of life. Quick phone call reveals it's time to go home. Disappointed to say the least.

Quick Google suggests that his whole tour was cancelled.

Rest of the tour went ahead, was just Edinburgh that has been cancelled so far. No explanation yet though

Glad I didnt bother getting tickets then. Got his album and wasn't particularly impressed with it. If he was going to do lots of DPT and Libs stuff then I'd have went, but wasn't interested in hearing him play anything off his solo album. It really was poor.

His solo album is quality IMO.
