We haven't had one of these for ages, last one i remember everyone had Ronaldhino in their team, so lets have a go. It might be a bit more fun than the current Riordan contract debates and doom and gloom settling in after last night.
I'll go first, and i make no apology for the Barcelona bias.

I dont get this Neuer fascination... boy has talent but he is no where near the best keeper in the world... yet.
Buffon, Casillas, Lloris, Cech, Julio Cesar and even Van Der Sar are still way ahead of him.

My pick would be Van der Sar, because he's almost certainly retiring at the end of the season and he has had a very, very impressive career.
My outfield would be Barcelona, just like the rest of the teams mentioned here.

Cech and Casillas have been poor for the last few seasons, same with Buffon. But agree he is overrated, and the other three you mention are much better keepers.
Think that Memo Ochoa also looks like some talent, along with De Gea:agree:

Cech is still a top quality keeper, although since the injury he hasnt been as good as he was... still brilliant mind. Casillas has always been a brilliant keeper, his only problem he has had to suffer in club football with a terrible defense. Real never attempt to defend and no matter how good a keeper is, if enough shots are taken, they will conceed.
Buffon suffers from a similar problem at Juve and injuries have stopped him as well recently. Still would pick him ahead of anyone.

Casillas had a dodgy couple of seasons but he has been very, very good for the most part this season. Arguably the most naturally talented goalkeeper ever.
Agree with previous posters about Neuer, very good with great potential but still a baby in goalkeeping terms and nowhere near the finished article yet. I'd say the same about De Gea.

Apparently he's coming to Bayern next season, so then it will be official that he's the best....

It's called a sence of humour, you should try it some day :na na:. OH, wait a minute you just did. "One of the best strikers in the world" :faf::faf::faf:. As for Veloso, where would you play him? It's his position after all is it not? Sure he's not the best player in the world but he's a CDM player and in my team with them players he'd be the dogs bollocks .

Also Veloso is mince no matter who he is playing with or where.

Guardiola didn't force Ibrahimovic out of anywhere, he made it very clear he hadn't settled at Barca and wished to go back to Serie A. Guardiola is very strict about on and off field discipline and the relationship deteriorated quickly as Ibrahimovic didn't meet the standards expected, this is one of the reasons one of Guardiolas first moves as manager was to sanction the sale of Ronaldhinio and why Rafael Marquez was moved on pretty quickly.
I agree the myth about Ibrahimovics scoring record in big games has been accepted as truth, however after leaving Ajax his scoring record in Europe isn't great. Whilst the stats last year suggest he had an ok season at Barca they don't tell the whole story, he had an ok season but he got nowhere close to justifying the pricce tag and lost the fans fairly quickly.

Imbrahimovic is a tall, lazy, lanky player. Tap in after tap in.
I agree with you on the Miguel Veloso part though.
I would probably put Xavi or Iniesta in instead and play 1 of the 2 further foward.
